Description
These grips will fit Ruger XR3 Pre 1963 Single Six & Flattop Blackhawk Frames. The grips fit XR3 grip frames, produced before 1963 without the internal locking mechanism. These XR3 grips have a different locator pin position than the newer XR3 style grips. Ruger factory medallions and checkering can be added.
They are also available in a variety of natural woods hand finished with lacquer. Custom engraving and custom woods are available if you wish to contact us. We also have an extended variant of this type of grip.

I bought a set of your Ebony Laminate grips for my old, XR3 frame, 1953 Ruger single Six. I had almost given up on a nice set of grips. Tried a couple of the ‘big’ guys. Nothing fit or looked right.
Then TEXAS GRIPS came up on a google search.
WOW!!! I did pay the extra for the logo and engraving.
