I don’t email vendors often but your product is exceptional. Pardon the poor quality of the attached photo but I wanted you to see the difference even though you have seen similar many times. I bought this New Vaquero some years ago but never was fond of it. I had forgotten how awkward a SAA feels to a person with big mitts like mine and came to feel I had made a mistake buying this pistol. Technically, I think the New Vaquero is a great advancement for someone who would like to shoot a traditional six-gun but not put up with the archaic characteristics of a Colt.
But gripping this New Vaquero was like shaking hands with a small child. It just never felt natural, comfortable. I’m not blaming the pistol. I’m 6’4” with hands to match and the New Vaquero with the itsy 2-finger grips is just wrong.
Well, that pistol is now my favorite for dry-firing at the network news. I leave it where I can pick it up in a spare moment and enjoy the fit & function. And live fire follow up recovery is quicker. Your mesquite grips have entirely changed the character of this pistol. And another thing, I think the whole package looks better with these better proportioned grips. I believe I prefer it over my New Blackhawk Bisley.

Got my extended mesquite grips for my Vaquero last Tuesday and installed them immediately. They look and feel good. I am pleased. Got to the range on Friday and I am very pleased. The shooting experience with the Texas Grips is great. It was worth the wait.
